Ingredients of Channay ki daal ka halwa (Split chickpeas)
- Prepare of Sugar.
- Prepare of Water.
- It’s of Split chickpeas (Channay ki daal).
- Prepare of Ghee.
- Prepare of Green cardamoms (powdered).
- Prepare of Dry dates slice 1/2 cup.
- You need of Almonds,pista,coconut slice cut mix 1 cup.
- You need of Raisins.
- You need of Few Chandi ka warq.
- Prepare of Kewra essence few.
- You need of Whole garam masala.
- You need of Bay leaf (Tazpatta) 2.
- You need of Cinnamon (Darchini).
- It’s of Black cardamom.
- It’s of Green Cardamom.
- You need of Long.
Channay ki daal ka halwa (Split chickpeas) step by step
- Take a pan add sugar and half cup water cook it until sugar become liquid..
- Take a pan add chanay ki daal & 1 jug water, Cook it until the water get dry then wait until it cool down at room temperature.
- Then Chanay ki daal grind it into the grinder and make a smooth paste..
- Take a pan add ghee, Whole Garam Masala (Bay leaf, Cinnamon, Black cardamom, Green Cardamom, Long) and let it crackle..
- Then add Paste of chaney ki daal and cook until daal become golden brown with stir spoon continuously.
- Then add liquid sugar (sugar syrup), cook & mix well. When sugar syrup get dry then add all dry fruits and mix well..
- Now add Cardomon powder, Kehwara Essence, cook it 10-15 minutes.
- Now ready chanay ki daal ka halwa for serving. Garnish with Nuts & dry fruits..
