  1. It’s of whole chopped tomato.
  2. It’s of Dates.
  3. It’s of Tamarind water.
  4. It’s of panch phoron.
  5. It’s of dry red chillies.
  6. Prepare of paanch phoron.
  7. It’s of melted jaggery (gur).
  8. Prepare of bay leaves.
  9. You need of mustard oil.
  10. It’s of chopped onion.
  11. Prepare of haldi powder.
  12. It’s of Finely chopped coriander.
  13. Prepare of Salt as per taste.

Tomato sweet chutney (Bengali tomato tok) step by step

  1. Wash tomato and dry red chillies and chopped it..
  2. Heat oil in a kadai / frying pan..
  3. Add mustard seeds and let it crackle. Add bay leaves..
  4. Now add some chopped oinion. And also add dry red chillies..
  5. Add chopped tomatoes and stir well 2 – 3 minutes..
  6. Add haldi powder & salt..
  7. Close the kadai / frying pan with a lid and cook on low heat till the tomato mixture thickens / soft / well blended with spices..
  8. Now add dates, tamarind water & melted jaggery. Mix it well.
  9. Take a masher and mash it well. Add some coriander leaves..
  10. Your tomato chutney is ready to serve..
