Ingredients of lemon drizzle cake
- You need of eggs.
- You need of caster sugar.
- You need of soft margarine.
- Prepare of finley grated lemon rind.
- You need of self-raising flour.
- Prepare of milk.
- You need of icing sugar.
- It’s of lemon juice.
lemon drizzle cake step by step
- preheat oven to 180*c.
- place eggs , caster sugar and margerine in a bowl and beat until smooth and fluffy.
- stir in lemon rind then fold flour in . stir in milk and then spoon in cake tin.
- to make the syrup place icing sugar and lemon juice in a small saucepan and heat gently.
- prick the warm cake with a cake and then spoon syrup over top of cake and then leave to cool completley then dust icing sugar ontop of the cake.
