Ingredients of Pumpkin Spice Cake
- It’s 1 cup of All purpose flour.
- Prepare 1 cup of Pumpkin puree.
- You need 1/2 cup of Vegetable oil/Canola oil.
- It’s 2 of Large eggs.
- Prepare 1 cup of Granulated sugar.
- Prepare 1 tsp of Vanilla extract.
- Prepare 1 tsp of Baking powder.
- Prepare 1/2 tsp of Baking soda.
- You need 1/2 tsp of Salt.
- It’s 1/2 cup of Raisins.
- It’s 1 cup of Chopped walnuts.
Pumpkin Spice Cake step by step
- Preheat the oven to 350 deg F..
- Prep a 9×9 round baking dish with parchment liner or baking spray. Beat the eggs, oil, pumpkin puree and sugar to light creamy consistency..
- Now add the vanilla extract into this mixture..
- Sieve together the flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt into the wet mixture in small batches..
- While adding the last batch flour mixture, gently fold in the raisins and walnuts..
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish..
- Bake for 30 mins or until a toothpick inserted in the center of the cake comes out clean..
- Frost with cream cheese frosting and decorate with chopped walnuts..
