Ingredients of Carrot & Nuts cake
- It’s 1/2 cup of Maida.
- Prepare 1/2 cup of Wheat flour.
- It’s 1 cup of Grated carrot.
- It’s 1 1/4 cup of Curd.
- It’s 1/2 cup of Olive oil.
- It’s 1 cup of Brown sugar.
- Prepare 1 tsp of Vanilla essence.
- It’s 1/2 tsp of Cinnamon powder.
- Prepare 1 tsp of Baking powder.
- Prepare 1 tsp of Baking Soda.
- Prepare 1/2 tsp of Salt.
- You need handful of Sliced almonds for garnish Pistachio & Walnuts, chopped.
Carrot & Nuts cake step by step
- Preheat oven at 180 deg C for 10mins. Meanwhile lay butter paper inside the baking tin Grease it with butter and maida.
- Grate the carrots finely and keep aside..
- Sieve maida, wheat flour with salt,baking soda and baking powder.
- Now in a mixing bowl add curd, sugar, milk and olive oil..
- Mix well until sugar completely dissolves..
- Then add cinnamon powder, vanilla essence Finally fold in carrots then add the dry ingredients mix Mix with cut & fold method.
- Pour in the greased tin I placed sliced almonds on the top.
- Now keep in preheated oven Bake for 25 minutes Do a chk test with the help of a skewer.
- Take out when the skewer comes out clean.
- Let it cool down completely before removing it from the tin.
- Enjoy like this or with cream frosting.
- I just drizzled some cream and garnished with chopped nuts.
