Ingredients of Dahi Vada

  1. Prepare of Urad dal 2 cups soaked for 3-4 hours.
  2. You need of Yellow Moongi 1 cup soaked 3-4 hours.
  3. You need 1 inch of Ginger.
  4. You need 1 tsp of Salt.
  5. Prepare of Asafoetida 1 /4 tsp.
  6. You need 1/2 cup of Raisins.
  7. You need 2 kg of Curd.
  8. You need 1 of Pomegranate.
  9. Prepare 1 cup of Dates tamarind chutney.
  10. Prepare 1 cup of Mint chutney.

Dahi Vada instructions

  1. Soak both lentils either overnight or for 4 hours. and drain in colander. Grind both by adding 1-2 tbsp of of water in batches..
  2. Make a little thick consistency batter and beat it for 5 minutes to make it fluffy..
  3. Add asafoetida, raisins, ginger and salt. Incorporate all well..
  4. Take a teaspoon full of batter and deep fry vadas..
  5. Soak vadas in warm water for 15-20 minutes. Press gently in your palms to squeeze excess water..
  6. Place in plate,pour curd on it, add chutneys, chaat masala, pomegranate seeds. Rock salt and serve..
