Ingredients of Fruit cake
- Prepare 1 cup of maida.
- Prepare 1/2 cup of sugar.
- Prepare 1 tsp of baking powder.
- You need 1/2 tsp of baking soda.
- It’s 2 tbsps of milk powder.
- It’s 1/4 cup of milk.
- It’s 1/4 cup of butter /oil.
- Prepare 2 of eggs.
- You need 1 tbsp of almonds, chopped.
- You need 1 tbsp of cashews, chopped.
- It’s 1 tbsp of walnuts, chopped.
- It’s 1 tbsp of raisins, chopped.
- It’s 1 tbsp of dates, chopped.
- Prepare 1 tbsp of black raisins chopped.
- It’s 1 tsp of vanilla essence.
Fruit cake step by step
- Mix the chopped nuts and dry fruits with 1 tbsp maida and keep it aside. Can add tutti frutti, dry apricots..
- In a mixing bowl, using a hand beater, beat the ?? to become frothy. Then add sugar and mix well. Then add softened butter and vanilla essence and mix well. To this add the dry ingredients- maida, milk powder, baking powder and baking soda and sieve at least 2 times and add to the wet ingredients and fold gently to form a batter. Add ? gradually to form the desired batter. Add the dry fruits mixture to the batter and mix well..
- Pour the batter into the greased cake pan and bake it. Fruit cake is ready!!!.
