Ingredients of Sig's Heaven and Earth

1. Prepare of potatoes.
2. You need of apples.
3. Prepare of fresh lemon juice.
4. It’s of sugar.
5. It’s of each salt ,pepper and nutmeg to season.
6. You need of onions.sliced thinly.
7. Prepare of marinaded tofu or vegetarian bacon or a piece streaky bacon,cut into small cubes.
8. You need of lentil and mushroom burgers ( see my recipe) or black pudding or homemade burgers or German Bratwurst (frying sausage).

Sig's Heaven and Earth step by step

1. Peel potatoes ,wash and quarter.Boil until soft in 1ltr of salted water. Peel the apples ,core ,boil to a rough applesauce resemblance with sugar and lemon juice.Mash potatoes and mix together with apples.Mix well.Season with salt.pepper and nutmeg.Keep warm..
2. fry bacon or heat tofu through remove from pan and then fry onion ,remove from pan.
3. Make the lentil and mushroom burgers or slice black pudding into 1-2 cm thin slices.Fry from both sides in bacon fat or olive oil until crispy.Top the potato/apple mash with bacon ,onions and burger or black pudding .Serve warm.
4. if you don't like black pudding serve with homemade burgers or bratwurst (German Sausage).
