Ingredients of Coriander Mint And Tamarind Date Chutney
- Prepare 1 1/2 cup of coriander leaves,.
- You need 1 cup of mint leaves.
- It’s 1 inch of ginger.
- You need 3-4 of garlic cloves,.
- Prepare 1 of onion cut into small pieces.
- You need 2 of green chillies,.
- You need 1 Tsp of chaat masala.
- You need 1 of Juice of one lime.
- Prepare 1 Tsp of cumin seeds,.
- Prepare 1/2 cup of seedless tamarind.
- You need 1 Tsp of red chilli powder.
- It’s to taste of Salt.
- You need 10-12 of seedless dates, cut into pieces.
- It’s 1/2 cup of jaggery,.
- You need 1 Tsp of cumin powder, 1 Tsp chaat masala.
- It’s to taste of Salt.
- Prepare 150 ml of Water.
Coriander Mint And Tamarind Date Chutney instructions
- For Coriander Mint Chutney -.
- In a grinder jar add onion, ginger, garlic, coriander leaves, mint leaves, cumin seeds, green chillies, chaat masala, Salt & lime juice.
- Grind all the ingredients well – Open the lid to check smooth consistency, if not add little water and grind until smooth.
- Chutney is ready, you can see it is turned into thick and smooth paste – remove it in a bowl.
- For Tamarind Date Chutney.
- In a pan, add water, tamarind, jaggery, dates and mix well – Let it boil for a minute on a high flame – Once it starts to boil, lower the flame and let it cook for 8-10 minutes.
- When cooked, turn off the flame and let it cool for 15-20 minutes.
- Strain the mixture through a sieve, to remove all impurities to obtain fine puree – When seived well, discard the remaining seeds, stones etc.
- Add chaat masala, red chilli powder, cumin powder & salt – Mix well Tamarind Date Chutney is ready..
