  1. You need 50 gram of tamarind.
  2. It’s 50 gram of jaggery.
  3. You need 15-20 of dates (khajoor).
  4. You need 1 teaspoon of roasted Jeera powder.
  5. It’s to taste of salt.
  6. Prepare 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper.
  7. Prepare 1 teaspoon of red chilli powder.
  8. Prepare 1 tablespoon of raisins.
  9. It’s as needed of black salt.

Dates & Tamarind chutney (saunth) step by step

  1. Soak tamarind for 2-3 hours. Remove Seeds of dates..
  2. Grind tamarind & dates into smooth paste. Strain paste with a big strainer..
  3. Heat a pan.
  4. Add tamarind & dates paste, 1/2 cup water, jaggery, salt, red chilli powder & Add tamarind & dates paste and jeera powder.
  5. Bring it to 3-4 boils. Add raisins..
  6. Once thick chutney ready remove from gas..
  7. Once cool. Keep it in fridge. You can use it at least 15 days..
