Ingredients of Checkers Cake
- It’s 1 of Vanilla Cake base (see recipe).
- It’s 1 of chocolate cake base (see recipe).
- You need 1 cup of couverture chocolate + 1/2 cup cream.
- It’s 400 ml of whipping cream.
- It’s 1 of tblspn cocoa powder.
- It’s of Few blanched almonds.
- It’s 1/2 cup of sugar syrup.
Checkers Cake instructions
- Prepare the base and let it cool properly. After that cut it as shown in the picture..
- Prepare the whipping cream. Add cocoa powder and whipped again..
- Once whipping cream is ready. Keep it in fridge. Take a base, apply some cream on it. Arrange carefully the cake on it..
- Apply sugar syrup. Arrange all the base. Apply whipping cream and shape it. Let it cool for some time in the fridge..
- Take the chocolate and add hot cream in that. It should not be runny. It will flow automatically. Garnish with chopped almonds. Let it set for some more time in the fridge..
