Ingredients of Ham in coke

  1. You need 2 kg of gammon, mild cure.
  2. It’s 1 of onion, peeled and halved.
  3. It’s 2 litres of cola.
  4. Prepare of Glaze.
  5. You need 1 handful of Cloves.
  6. You need 1 tbsp of golden syrup.
  7. You need 2 tsp of English mustard powder.
  8. You need 2 tbsp of demerara sugar.

  1. Put the gammon in a pan, skin side down if it fits like, add the onion then pour over the cola..
  2. Bring to the boil, reduce to a good simmer, put the lid on, though not tightly, and cook for 1 hour a kilo. If gammon is straight from fridge add 15mins to cooking time..
